Job Title Healthcare Attendant
Summary
Job scope
- Support and assist the nurses in the delivery of nursing care in the wards and helps to maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for them
- Execute ADL tasks eg feeding, showering, transferring, pottering of residents in the ward
- Take on responsibility of ward safety and cleanliness in wards
- Assist in therapy and Social activities with Therapy and Volunteer teams
- Support Volunteers coming to do activities with residents
- Perform simple assessments of resident\xe2\x80\x99s well being and clinical status (vital signs measurements) under supervision of Nurses and MSW/ Care coordinators
- Help Care coordinators to manage the residents\xe2\x80\x99 activity calendar
- Attend to needs of the residents. Ensure the safety, comfort and well-being of the residents and reports residents\xe2\x80\x99 need to the nurse
- Ensure the comfort and good personal hygiene of the residents
- Accompany residents for their outing trips
- Certificate in basic nursing care is advantageous
