Key Responsibilities

Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of the ferrous metals market
Analyze market trends, supply-demand dynamics, and other economic factors affecting ferrous metal prices.
Develop trading strategies in collaboration with the portfolio manager to capitalize on market opportunities.
Monitor China onshore trading activities and provide insights on market movements and potential impacts.
Collaborate with the trading team to execute trades and manage risks effectively.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments, regulatory changes, and macroeconomic factors that can influence the ferrous metals market.
Create and present detailed reports and analysis to support trading decisions.
Build and maintain relationships with key market participants and industry experts.

Required Qualifications:

Proven experience as a ferrous metal trader or fundamental analyst.
Strong familiarity with China onshore trading markets and regulations.
Experience in proprietary trading, particularly with iron products and other metals.
Excellent analytical, quantitative, and research skills.
Proficiency in relevant analytical tools and software.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
