1. KEY JOB SUMMARY The Hemodialysis Nurse is tasked to assist with kidney dialysis treatment, monitor their patient's fluid balance, and advise patients about their care. 2. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 2.1. TECHNICAL (GENERAL PATIENT CARE) 2.1.1. Assist patients with kidney failure through Hemodialysis treatment 2.1.2. Initiate, monitor, and terminate Hemodialysis treatment 2.1.3. Work closely with other medical staff to ensure that the patient is safe while undergoing Hemodialysis treatment 2.1.4. Refer any concerns, complications, laboratory values to the Attending Nephrologist/In House Physician2.1.5. Discuss patient's concern and conduct health teaching2.1.6.
