Job Description

We are looking for a seasoned Assistant Manager / Manager with experience in Experience in property loans, car and equipment loans, Block discounting / floor stock financing, or share financing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the department and effective management of Loans Administration matters & Safe Custody of security documents
• Reviews all loan matters and checks and signs all Letter of Offers and loan releases promptly, including loan redemption and loan correspondence.
• Liaise with solicitors on legal matters pertaining to loans matters, and vets legal documents.
• Ensure that the security documents of disbursed loans are properly safe kept.
• Co-ordinates with other departments on the smooth implementation of new operational procedures, and involved in system enhancement.
• Sits on the Credit Control Committee to discuss the status of loans, and to ensure that actions pertaining to loan documentation & disbursement are taken as per the Committee's approval.
• Prepare, check and review reports, including MAS reports to ensure accuracy & timely submission.
• Constantly review all documentation to ensure concurrence to statutory changes.

Requirements:

• Possess tertiary education qualification in Finance / Banking / Economics field of study
• Equipped with at least 6 to 8 years of experience in Loans Administration in banking / finance industry
• Possess supervisory experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Familiar with operation processes, documentation, disbursements, loan records maintenance / procedures adherence
