Job Description

Lead and manage MEP design for new-build, conversion, rebranding, and refurbishment hospitality projects, ensuring compliance with brand standards, technical excellence, and sustainability from concept to pre-opening.
Key Responsibilities
Lead review and approval of MEP designs, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and operational feasibility.
Prepare engineering services briefs and provide technical advisory during due diligence and pre-opening.
Conduct site inspections, technical audits, and Property Improvement Plans (PIPs).
Ensure design adherence to brand standards, safety, and sustainability regulations.
Guide and mentor hotel and project teams on MEP standards, procedures, and compliance.
Identify and implement sustainability initiatives (energy, water, waste, decarbonization).
Contribute to continuous improvement of MEP design and construction standards.
Ideal Requirements
8-12+ years' experience in MEP design, preferably in hospitality projects.
Professional qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
Familiarity with sustainability programs (Green Mark, LEED, EarthCheck).
Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure in fast-paced projects.
