Overall Job Objectives:



We are looking for an enthusiastic and professional

Host

to create a welcoming and memorable dining experience for our guests. This role involves greeting and seating customers, managing reservations, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining an organized and clean reception area. As the first point of contact, the Host will ensure that guests feel valued and well-attended during their visit.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



Welcome and seat guests, assist with reservations, and provide accurate wait time estimates during busy periods. Manage the reservation list and optimize table assignments for smooth operations and guest satisfaction. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing reception area that reflects the restaurant's standards. Provide guests with menus, answer inquiries about the menu, and handle special requests or issues promptly. Collaborate with the team to ensure a seamless dining experience and support smooth table turnover.

QUALIFICATIONS:



Diploma in Hospitality or related field preferred, or equivalent experience in the hospitality industry. Strong interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills with a polite and engaging personality. Professional phone etiquette and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.

KEY DELIVERABLES:



Provide warm, courteous service, ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued from arrival to departure. Effectively manage the reservation list and seating arrangements, ensuring smooth operations even during peak hours. Ensure the reception area is always clean, organized, and reflective of the restaurant's high standards. Work seamlessly with colleagues to ensure efficient table turnover and a cohesive dining experience. Maintain clear and professional communication with the team regarding guest needs, reservations, and any special requests.
