Department purpose
The HR team at A&O Shearman provides a first-class service to the business, offering strategic HR business advice at the business partner level and quality support services in the full range of HR functions through specialist teams such as, learning and development, resourcing, reward, employee relations advice, payroll, systems and HR administration.
Role and responsibilities
The core components of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the firms recruitment processes including job postings and scheduling interviews, including arranging interviews for the 2026 Summer Internship scheme
  • Participation in HR projects such as process improvement
  • Provide general administrative support across the HR function, including drafting employment letters, remote working memos and any adhoc reports as required
Key requirements
  • Diploma in any discipline, preferably with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience however, fresh graduates are welcome to apply
  • Able to start work immediately or within a short notice.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Good interpersonal, communication and writing skills
  • Professional and proactive
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
