Job Description


  • 6 months contract
  • Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 5.15pm
  • Location : Jurong Island
  • Transport Pick Up: Jurong East and Outram Park MRT Station
The client is a leading plastic manufacturer looking for HR Assistant (6 months contract).

In this role, you will report to the HR Manager - handling the day-to-day HR operational duties as well as support in employee life cycle matters.

Challanges:
  • Application, renewal and cancellation of foreign worker passes, (All Eps)
  • To assist in recruitment which includes job postings, schedule interviews
  • Prepare all employment-related documents, e.g. employment contact, letter etc
  • On-boarding formalities such as staff orientation (Executive Level)
  • Off-boarding formalities, such as sourcing for applicants via job posting on job portals, screening profiles, interviewing shortlisted candidates and preparing job offers,
  • Handle payroll processing of overtimes, incentives, figures and other numbers for payroll matters, monthly payroll and salary report preparation
  • Assist to develop standard HR reports.
  • Processing of Government Bodies claim such as Maternity claims, Childcare leave claims, NSmen claims and statutory claims
  • Handle personal data changes with proper letter generation/documentation
  • Update employee movement (including hiring, transfers, promotions, terminations and resignations)
  • Being actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Create and implement effective on-boarding plans
  • Perform any other ad-hoc duties as requested or assigned

What it Takes:
  • Diploma or Degree in HR Management
  • BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or relevant field
  • Minimally 2 years of experience in Human Resources Generalist role and operational duties
  • Well organized, independent & solutions-driven individual
  • Resilient and able to work in a fast pace environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Eg., Excel, Word, Power-point)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures.
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws.
  • Able to work independently or in team
