We are seeking a highly passionate and driven HR professional to join our HR team for the Mandai Rainforest Resort by Banyan Tree.


This will be an excellent opportunity for HR professionals to shape the culture and set the standards for Human Capital practices for the new Resort. The incumbent will deepen and advance their HR career by being involved in the formulation and setting up of the HR department and HR policies for the new Resort.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with the HR Manager to oversee all human resource functions. This includes recruitment, onboarding, policy development, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations. The ideal candidate should preferably have experience in the hospitality industry, and will play a critical role in building a high-performing team that aligns with our brand values and operational standards. Recruitment and Manpower Planning - Execute a comprehensive recruitment strategy to attract top talent for the Resort. In performing this role, the HR Executive will engage with various stakeholders, including community leaders, agencies etc. to broaden our reach and share our opportunities will all segments of the community. Onboarding and Shared Services - The incumbent will also be responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding process, including system-related activities, orientation and other related matters Culture and Employee Relations - Foster a culture that encapsulates the Resort's Values and Ethos. As part of the role, the HR Executive will help foster a positive work environment, one which encourages collaboration, engagement and a passion for continuous learning & upskilling. The incumbent will serve as a strategic Business Partner for the Resort and implement employee engagement initiatives and address any employee concerns.

Job Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field. Proven track record of 1 to 3 years' experience in a similar capacity, preferably in the hospitality industry. Strong knowledge of local labor laws and HR best practices. Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. * Able to handle matters independently, and able to exercise self-motivation to complete projects.
