Job Description


The role requires the incumbent to have a strong passion for a career in HR, with primary responsibilities in supporting recruitment processes, handling permit procedures, and addressing daily employee queries. The position will also involve tasks related to reporting, presentations, and engagement projects, with additional responsibilities assigned as the incumbent becomes proficient in foundational tasks.Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and Permit Processes: Support the recruitment of technicians and engineers, manage work permit processes, and ensure timely follow-up on renewals. Maintain high accuracy in information, data, and documentation related to recruitment and permits.
  • Employee Support and Queries: Provide daily support to employees by addressing queries, with a focus on ensuring accurate and timely information dissemination across departments. Act as a point of contact for employee issues, aiming for resolution within 5 working days.
  • Engagement Activities: Assist in the planning and execution of engagement activities, proactively recommending and initiating measures to enhance employee engagement across all levels. Ensure the successful completion of each activity.
  • Training and Coaching: Participate in orientation training, guide employees in utilizing HR systems (e.g., Prosoft), and address any arising queries effectively.
  • Professionalism and Ethics: Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and ethics, ensuring compliance with employment laws and internal policies. Consult with the HR management team and department heads for critical decisions such as terminations or dismissals.
  • Continuous Improvement: Engage in projects aimed at enhancing work productivity, automating processes, and improving cost efficiency as directed by senior management.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Minimum of a diploma with at least 5 years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Knowledge: General understanding of HR policies and legislation, with knowledge of the Employment Act seen as an advantage. Familiarity with Quality and Safety Policies is beneficial.
  • Skills: Proficiency in HR advisory, management of HR policies, and legislative frameworks.
  • Other Requirements: Capability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, resilience under stress, strong organizational skills, and effective communication across all levels of the organization. Fluency in English and one other language is required.
