About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Head of HR & Finance to lead both our human resources and financial functions. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a dynamic education environment and takes pride in ensuring smooth operations across HR and finance. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, managing payroll, and ensuring our financial books and HR documentation are accurate and up to date.

Key Responsibilities

Human Resources

Oversee all HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations. Draft, review, and update HR contracts, letters, and policies in compliance with Singapore's manpower laws and regulations. Manage payroll using HR systems -- currently transitioning from Carbonate HR to Wise Payroll. Maintain and update employee records accurately and confidentially. Provide HR advice to management and ensure fair and consistent HR practices.

Finance

Handle basic accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial tracking. Manage accounts payable and receivable, and ensure proper financial documentation and record keeping. Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for management review. Support budget planning and cost monitoring for the tuition centre.

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. Strong understanding of Singapore's employment laws and HR best practices. Hands-on experience in payroll processing and HR systems (Carbonate HR, Wise Payroll, or similar). Solid grasp of basic accounting principles and financial record management. Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively. A proactive, dependable professional who can work both independently and collaboratively.

Pay: $4,500.00 - $5,500.00 per month
