Job Description

:
The client is a global manufacturing company.

• Perform full spectrum of payroll related functions independently

• Responsible for accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll

• Verify and update attendance in the system on the weekly basis

• Validate and process claims such as dental, outpatient medical and dependant's medical

• Prepare payroll related reports such as payroll journals, headcount reports, overtime, leave balances and other reports as required

• Timely submission of CPF payment, tax filing, and government paid claims

• Responsible for annual income tax filings

• Handle internal and external audits

• Handle all work passes related issues such as application, renewal and cancellation

• Prepare and submit government bodies and statutory boards related surveys

• Administer employee benefits such as leaves, medical, dental and etc

• Attend to employees' queries on payroll related matters

• Update and maintain accurate employees' records in payroll system and HRIS

• Maintain payroll system, HRIS, Time Attendance system and employees' personal files

• Participate in ad-hoc projects as required

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or equivalent

• Minimum 3 years of payroll experience, preferably in a MNC manufacturing environment

• Able to handle payroll for Malaysia entity would be an added advantage

• Hands-on experience with payroll (Timesoft) and time attendance system

• Familiar with Employment Act, CPF Act, Income Tax Act and Foreign Worker Act

• Possess good analytical skills, meticulous and attention to details

• Mature, independent and resourceful

• Good communication skills and able to interact with all levels of employees

• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and willing to work in a manufacturing environment

• Strong work ethic, able to exercise integrity and maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive information
