Frazer Jones is pleased to be exclusively partnering with a leading and dynamic player in the Oil & Gas industry. A core requirement of the role is to have prior/current HR experience in the oil & gas industry. This is a permanent, full-time role based in Singapore, with regional coverage.
The position offers a flexible and hybrid work arrangement and requires an independent self-starter to be the anchor and go-to person for all HR responsibilities in the office.
Key Responsibilities
As the Senior HR Generalist (sole contributor), you will provide full HR support to employees in Singapore, as well as potentially 1 to 2 more offices within Asia. You will ensure the company adheres to local employment laws and internal policies. Responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, you will also oversee recruitment needs (direct sourcing or in partnership with search firms) and manage work visa applications when needed.
You will be responsible for managing payroll and administering employee benefits, maintaining accurate HR records, and coordinating performance appraisals and KPI tracking. Your role will also include conducting salary reviews, managing insurance and benefits programs, and supporting employee engagement activities. As the go-to HR personnel, you will manage employee relations matters, and provide guidance on disciplinary procedures as. Additionally, you will be responsible for employee engagement initiatives and work closely with the Office Admin team to plan and organize company-wide events. Additionally, you might be required to provide support to the MD to schedule and coordinate meetings.
Ideal Profile
To succeed in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline. As a guideline, at least 5 years of hands-on experience in HR, with a solid track record as a HR Generalist (including managing payroll/payroll vendor) is required. Excellent communication skills is a must-have, in order to effectively engage with and to communicate with stakeholders. Prior work experience in diverse, international environments would be a plus as well.
You should be highly organized and be able to manage your time effectively. The role calls for someone who can work independently, juggle multiple tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
