Care Corner Singapore Ltd was founded in 1981, in a climate of changes in the early 1980s, as economic competition in the region intensified and the rift between the wealthy and the lower-income in particular the Chinese blue-collar workers, widened. Rev Tan Tien Ser and a group of passionate individuals believed that these marginalised people with lower income and little opportunities for a formal education could be helped to realise their potential and become more competent and fulfilled persons. Through a series of early outreach initiatives, Care Corner has evolved into an organisation offering a wide range of programmes and services delivered through various social service centres located island-wide. In a bid to stay relevant to the needs of the community, Care Corner has continuously strived to offer new and innovative programmes to support those in need and the less privileged.

The intern will work with the People & Organisation Development team to:
Map out HR workflow as part of an on-going project to improve workflow processes
Assist in data gathering and analysis to inform the HR work
Assist in updating personnel data using our HRIS and Sharepoint systems
Support the coordination and execution of core people development programmes such as onboarding, offboarding, new hires orientation, leadership development training etc
Help organise staff engagement programmes such as surveys
Able to assist with process automation will be advantageous
As part of the learning, the intern will get to :
Interact with the Care Corner leadership team
participate in core programmes run by the P&OD team
Receive on the job training with regard to HR processes
Learn more about the social service sector
Visit some of our centres which carry out a spectrum of social service programs and services
Requirements:
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Take initiatives, a self-starter and is willing to learn
Proficient in Office 365 tools
Preferably someone who is competent with Excel and able to assist with process automation
Min diploma in Business/HR
Able to commence internship in July 2022 or September 2022
Internship Period : minimum 3 months; subject to extension to max 6 months
