Core Responsibilities: HR strategy and planning Develop HR strategies and workplans to build the employer brand and support achievement of the overall organizational goals of the company Engage stakeholders to conduct manpower planning to meet operational requirements Develop, implement and review the succession planning and coaching framework and process, including establishing a framework for identifying and developing talents Recruitment and Selection Engage stakeholders to review job descriptions to ensure that roles are aligned to achieve the organizational goals Establish recruitment policies and processes including identifying appropriate assessment tools and competencies to facilitate selection of suitable candidates Participate in the hiring process for managerial positions Develop and review effectiveness of the onboarding program to ensure new hires are well inducted into the company culture Performance, remuneration and benefits Establish and review a competitive compensation and benefits structure and ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements Oversee rank-and-file payroll operations and provide payroll reports for senior management's review Develop, implement and review compensation and benefits policies and processes Develop, implement and review fair and transparent performance management policies and processes to ensure clear linkage of performance to rewards/recognition Facilitate the annual performance management review process including salary/bonus review Learning and career development Develop and review the competency requirements, learning and development policies in consultation with stakeholders to build capabilities to cater for current and future needs of the company Monitor training budget and review effectiveness of training program Develop and review career development pathways, policies and processes with Business Unit and Functional Heads to facilities staff development opportunities across the company Employee engagement and well-being Develop, implement and review employee engagement, well-being and communication strategies and initiatives to ensure a motivated and effective workforce Lead measurement of employee engagement and identify areas of improvement provide recommendations for senior management's review Develop and review grievance management policies and process facilitate resolution of escalated grievances and disputes with the relevant parties HR IT operations Work with stakeholders to identify, Implement and review the required HR Information Systems to facilitate effective and efficient delivery of HR processes (e.g. recruitment workflow system, e-appraisal, learning management system, self-service payroll, claims, leave, time management systems) Innovation and process improvement Lead the adoption of new and better ways of doing things Keep abreast with latest trends, explore best practices and encourage idea generation from internal and external stakeholders Communicate need to improve and innovate to enhance the customer experience and ensure business excellence and sustainability Identify and address barriers of change Engage relevant stakeholders to review and improve HR processes GM Articulate case for change and how it will enhance customer experience and ensure business excellence and sustainability People management Participate in the hiring and orientation of the HR department Ensure self and staff keep abreast of industry trends and knowledge and continuously seek development opportunities Identify development gaps and interventions including training of self and team members Communicate career development opportunities and work with senior management to develop career development plans for team members Manage performance by setting SMART goals, coach and discipline employees to achieve high performance Motivate and encourage staff by according recognition when appropriate Promote a positive work culture aligned to the company's Core Values Job Specifications: Minimum education qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in any discipline Diploma or Professional Certification in Human Resource or related field preferred Minimum years of experience: 3 years of experience as an HR Generalist in a managerial capacity Key job-specific competency requirements: Strong knowledge of employment/manpower regulations, government schemes and industry/HR best practices Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong leadership capabilities Key Result Areas: High employee engagement level and Employee Net Promoter Score High employee retention rate High employee engagement Highly competent workforce Strong employer branding All Successful candidates can expect a very competitive remuneration package and a comprehensive range of benefits.
