McConnell Dowell is looking to hire an HR Officer for our SEA HQ office.

About the Role

Major Objectives

Provide HR support on a day-to day basis to the business unit and contribute to operational effectiveness of the HR function, while ensuring compliance to local and industry regulations

Key Accountabilities

  • Responsible for onboarding of new hires and exit of resigned employees including but not limited to payroll data entry, inventory management, tax clearance, insurance administration and induction
  • Initiate all work pass related transactions including applications, renewal, issuance, update and cancellation (EP, S Pass, WP & DP)
  • Track and monitor absences of workers to ascertain their home leave entitlement and for submission of Foreigner Worker Levy waiver
  • Support HR administration including but not limited to the preparation of employment contacts and letters, employee onboarding, and approvals, processing invoices and system data entry
  • Maintain accurate payroll and employee records in HRIS
  • Coordination of routine and non-routine trainings between staff and training providers
  • Attend to employee queries pertaining and directing them to the right contacts if required
  • Administration support in annual performance review for employees
  • Other duties as required
About You

To be considered for the opportunity, you will need the following:
  • Tertiary education qualifications in Administration, Business or Human Resource
  • Experience in handling end-to-end Employee Life Cycle
  • Knowledge of MOM employment act and regulations
  • Familiarity with Singapore construction regulations will be an added advantage
  • Experience in working in environment handling blue-collared workers
