Job Description

QUALIFICATIONS
1. Degree in a program of study related to Accounting, Human Resources or Business Administration, Associate's Degree or a combination of education and experience
2. At least 1-2 years experience in areas of Human Resources, Payroll preparation, & other HR-related functions.
3. Proven work experience as a Payroll Officer, Payroll Clerk or similar role (manual and system)
4. Knowledge and/or Hands-on experience with HRIS and accounting software
5. Working knowledge of accounting principles and payroll practices
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
1. Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office - Word, Excel )
2. Can work with limited supervision and ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
3. Strong analytical and planning skills
4. Good communication
5. Strong math skills with an ability to spot numerical errors
6. Time-management skills
7. Detail-oriented
8. Exemplifies customer service skills
9. Responsible and result - oriented
