Develop, implement, and sustain the Safety Management System (SMS) for the company.
Collaborate with Master/Manning agencies to brief the crew on HSSEQ policies, documentation, and procedures.
Supervise and ensure the ship\'s compliance with regulatory requirements and legislation (such as IMO, Flag State, and Port State rules and regulations).
Support the HSE Manager in the day-to-day functions related to Marine and HSE.
Serve as a backup for the Purchase Executive, overseeing the Purchase function for a designated vessel in the Fleet.
Monitor PSC inspections and deficiencies, liaising with relevant parties to ensure adherence to international regulations and commercial operations.
Compile deficiencies from PSC, FSI, and Right Ship assessments for the entire fleet under the company\'s management.
Contribute to the daily operations and management of fleet vessels, ensuring cost-effective, safe, and efficient operations.
Assist in maintaining documentation and, when necessary, establish comprehensive files for future reference.
Aid in accurate accounting of expenses and oversee the operating budget related to HSE.
Register, monitor, and ensure the implementation of all corrective and preventive actions.
Take overall responsibility for all HSSEQ matters on board.
Support the daily operations of the Crewing Department as a backup.
Undertake other assigned tasks as needed.
Requirements:
Hold a university degree in Workplace Safety & Health or any Engineering discipline or related disciplines.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
Possess clear communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a consistent focus on quality.
Previous experience in an HSE role is advantageous.
