Conduct toolbox meetings and implement safety and health measures at site
Conduct regular site inspections and follow up actions to ensure HSE compliance
Ensure each person working on site is registered in the site registry and carry out a site-specific induction for everyone
Investigate and report on any accidents that occur and take actions to prevent re-occurrence
Prepare Method Statements/Risk Assessments/Safe Work Procedure
Maintain project accident statistics
Handle all safety issues and routines at site
Liaise with all authorities on safety matters
Ensure firefighting and security equipment are maintained
Ensure compliance to the Company's Code of Conduct and mandatory regulations
Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health/Engineering or related discipline
Minimum 3 years' experience in marine shipyard operations
Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
Good knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures
Paramedic in Arm Forces and SCDF, Healthcare of Industrial background would be an added advantage
