HSE Officer (WSHO Certified)

Key Responsibilities

Perform all duties in accordance with the

Workplace Safety and Health Officer (WSHO)

role, as defined by Singapore legislation and

MOM

regulations Enforce statutory acts, environmental codes, and company safety policies across the site workforce Conduct regular

site audits, safety inspections, and risk assessments

, reporting on compliance and corrective actions Provide

coaching, safety briefings, and toolbox talks

to employees and subcontractors Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of the

project-specific HSE Management System

, aligned with corporate and industry standards Support company efforts to attain

HSE awards, certifications, and recognition

, such as bizSAFE, ISO 45001, and Green & Gracious certifications Identify systemic gaps in safety procedures or environmental practices and provide recommendations for improvements Liaise with authorities (MOM, NEA, CAG) as required, including managing permit-to-work systems and submission of incident reports

Requirements

MOM-registered WSH Officer (WSHO)

certification is

mandatory

Minimum

5 years of relevant experience

in the construction industry; experience in

aviation infrastructure or CAG projects

is highly desirable Strong knowledge of

WSH Act, Environmental Protection & Management Act (EPMA)

, and associated regulations Familiar with

risk management frameworks, accident investigation, and environmental monitoring

Able to work independently with a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and organizational skills
