  • To govern Neste Corporate Standard on Process Safety and its interface with PHA, PSI, Risk Classifications, MOC, HAZOP, PSSR etc so it is driven to the right expectation and standard set by Corporate HSSEQ and local regulators
  • Strategise the process safety culture needs so it can implemented and drived to the acceptable level
  • Audit & evaluate refinery PS standards, procedures, activities according to Corporate HSSEQ and local regulators requirement and ensure PS improvement actions are sustainable, tracked and close out timely
  • To lead and facilitate in Process Safety activities such as PHA, MOC, HAZOP, PSSR, PS incident investigation etc. as process safety expert representing HSSEQ department
  • Chair PS committee and facilitate the committee discussion, minutes of meeting, tracking of actions. Lead cross functional team to improve PS culture and improvement via agreed KPIs
  • Own and lead cross functional team in maintaining refinery safety case, act on intervention plan and act as the main contact with MHD
  • Develop process safety training topics, material and conduct PS training.
  • Owner and driver of process safety related system/principles/standards not limited to OHS, Incident Management, RCA Investigations, Synergy Life and interface other principles and standards related to process and plan safety.
  • Other HSSEQ related duties and tasks, as assigned.
Keys to success in this role / The best combination to succeed in this roleMinimum 5 years in Refinery/Oil Gas & Petrochemical/Pharmaceutical/Consultant as Process Safety Engineer or Process Safety expert.Able to work in a Matrix organization, leading and cooperating with cross function stakeholders.Strong sense of responsibility, integrity and honesty.Strong understanding and well verse in using different risk assessment methods/tools to identify, analyse and evaluate process safety risk.Good to Have experience as Fire Safety Manager to perform the duties and responsibilities of FSM (Fire Safety Manager) as set by Fire Safety Manager Regulations. Eg and not limited to: Emergency Response Plan preparation, review, update, ensuring timely renewal/approval of P&FM, FC certificate/permits.
