Hull Foreman / Assistant Engineer

Job Description
- Assists in preparation of the Work Plan and manpower requirement based on the Work scope / Specifications
- Delegates jobs to supervisors and plan the manpower required for the jobs in accordance to the budgeted man-hours
- Resolves problems encountered and manage the coordination between the different trades
- Prepares Material Take-Off (MTO) based on Drawings
- Understands technical drawings/ blueprints
- Well-experience with different type of materials
- Experience in raising or approving Purchase Request for materials and equipment required for the jobs accordingly
- Monitors the work of sub-contractors to ensure that quality and workmanship conform to company standards.
- Ensures that all standard operating procedures comply with specifications, quality standards, statutory and regulatory requirements
