Job Description

JOB SUMMARYThis position is responsible for providing overall support for the Human Resources and Administrative Department in its function of ensuring effective acquisition, maintenance, utilization, and development of the company workforce including the formulation and implementation of plans, programs, and projects aimed at creating and maintaining the quality of work-life for all employees.MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responds to inquiries of employees regarding employment status, compensation and benefits, employee services, and other employee concerns;
  • Handles recruitment activities including advertising or posting of job vacancies, processing of applications, conducting tests and preliminary interviews, arranging selection interviews and managing employment documentation;
  • Prepares and updates personnel records (201 files) and encodes information into the employee database and agency records;
  • Prepares regular and ad hoc reports and documents on HR activities and employment data as may be required by Management;
  • Checks payroll summary for accurate and correct data;
  • Prepares orientation materials and conducts orientation for new employees;
  • Prepares documents requested by employees such as certifications and clearances;
  • Submits monthly status report regarding workforce agency hiring performance, government-mandated contributions, salary adjustments, employee disciplinary actions, and headcount;
  • Assists in administering the performance appraisal system, job evaluation, salary and benefits review, employee relations, and other HR programs;
  • Conducts research on HR topics as may be directed by the HR Manager;
  • Conducts agency assessment on its hiring performance;
  • Performs related tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
  • A graduate of psychology, human resources management, business management, business administration, and behavioral science;
  • Preferably with at least one (1) year of experience as a human resources assistant or equivalent professional practice;
  • Proficient in basic computer programs (word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, and internet navigation and e-mail);
  • Good decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills;
  • Proficient in written and communication skills;
  • Highly organized and has an eye for detail;
  • Self-motivated and hardworking;
  • Positive personal values and strong work ethic;
  • Strict in implementing of rules, regulations, and policies.
