: The HR Assistant duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database to posting job ads. An important part of your role will be to act as the l : The HR Assistant duties involve a wide range of support activities inside our HR department, from coordinating meetings to maintaining our employee database to posting job ads. An important part of your role will be to act as the liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. Youll also assist in creating policies, processes and documents. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Payroll & Statutory requirements Responsible for month-end payroll processing, calculations and payout including resignation/termination cases. Reconciling reports and uploading bank and CPF submission before the 14th of following month. Generating payroll reports to Finance. Prepare and submit statutory reports and claims (child-care / reservists / maternity / paternity / etc) Prepare and submit to IRAS (IR8A, 8B, 8C & others) reports for all staff. Assist with claims on medical, specialist, dental, transport and insurance. Answer all queries on OT, Claims, Allowances and Tax questions. Employee Exit (Resignation/Termination) Processing Acceptance of resignation letter. Tax clearance IR21 (if applicable). Adhoc payroll processing. Renewal of MOM Work Passes Tracking and renewing of work passes (Work Permit, SPass, Employment Pass), cancellation and related processes. Manage Time Management System Daily time check and updating (Production staff Assembly, Degreasing, Forming & Stamping). Rectifying and reconciling time in and time out reports. E-Leave Management Maintain HR E-leave management system. Ensure accuracy and consistency in leave management in system. Regularly print out leave balance reports for management deliberation. Respond and clarify on queries relating to HR policies and procedures. HRIS Maintain and update records as and when required. Health Incentive Year-end Health Incentive payment. Annual Wage Supplement (AWS) AWS/13th month payment in December of each year. Yearly Health Screening Long Service Award (LSA) Assist in year-end LSA ceremony. Contract expiry including Retirement & Re-employment Administrative duties Assist and participate in any ad-hoc HR related initiatives and projects. Any other duties as assigned by Superior and/or Management. Educational Qualifications Minimum Diploma in Human Resource Management Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Understanding and familiar with local labour laws & key government rules and regulations. Proficient in Microsoft Office. Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to multi task and work in a fast paced manner.
