Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records (e.g., contracts, certifications, attendance).
Process and verify timesheets for payroll.
Assist in recruiting tradespeople, laborers, and staff (posting jobs, screening applicants).
Schedule interviews, orientations, and pre-employment drug or medical tests.
Collect and verify worker documentation (e.g., IDs, safety tickets, union cards).
Support onboarding and offboarding processes.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and site-specific requirements.
Help manage HR correspondence and inquiries from employees.
Assist in the organization of safety training, toolbox talks, and other HR-related meetings.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resours, Bussiness Administration or related field (or relevant experience).
More than 4 years of experience in construction field.
Knowledge of employment standards, payroll basics, and site safety requirements is a plus.
