Job Description

Located at Buangkok Green Medical Park, the Institute of Mental Health (IMH) is an acute tertiary psychiatric hospital with 1950 beds. We offer a comprehensive range of psychiatric, rehabilitative and counselling services for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly.
We believe in providing holistic integrative mental healthcare. Our modern facilities complement evidence-based multidisciplinary practices ranging from clinical psychology, nursing, occupational therapy, to medical social work.
As Singapore's only tertiary psychiatric care institution, we nurture the next generation of mental healthcare practitioners through the NHG-AHPL Residency Programme, and collaborate with the local tertiary institutions, continuing our tradition of care since 1928.

The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team in strategic initiatives that enhance workforce planning, talent development, and organizational effectiveness. This role provides hands-on experience in HR analytics, policy development, and employee engagement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

  • Assist in analyzing recruitment metrics and talent pipelines.
  • Support employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Participate in workforce planning discussions and provide data insights.
2. HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Collect and analyze HR data (e.g., turnover, engagement scores, training effectiveness).
  • Prepare dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to projects that improve HR processes through data-driven insights.
3. Policy & Process Improvement
  • Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies to align with best practices.
  • Support compliance initiatives and documentation for audits.
  • Research emerging HR trends and recommend improvements.
4. Employee Engagement & Culture
  • Help design and implement engagement strategies that foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Assist in measuring the impact of engagement programs and suggest enhancements.
5. Strategic Projects
  • Participate in HR transformation projects (e.g., digitalization, diversity & inclusion programs).
  • Support initiatives related to organizational development and change management.
