Support the development and implementation of HR initiatives, systems, and policies across the Asia Pacific Region (excluding China) in accordance with the direction of HQ.
Provide counselling on policies and procedures as Regional Lead
Understand the changes in labour policies in various countries in Asia in real time to ensure the legality of employment of employees in various countries
Collaborate with the general manager of the human resources department to promote the integration of human resources initiatives\xef\xbc\x8csystems and policies across borders.
Specific to the Singapore office:
Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process for the Singapore office.
Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
Assist in performance management processes.
Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements.
Review employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
Responsible for all administrative tasks.
Requirements and skills
Proven experience as HR officer, administrator or other HR position
Knowledge of HR functions (pay & benefits, recruitment, training & development etc.)
Understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures
Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of HRMS is a plus
Outstanding organizational and time-management abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
