About the role

Coalesce Management Consulting Pte. Limited' is seeking an experienced HVAC Engineer to join our team. This is a full-time position based in the West Region. As an HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, installation, and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems for commercial and industrial facilities.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a skilled

HVAC Engineer

to join a high-impact project in a pharmaceutical greenfield facility. The role will act as the

Subject Matter Expert (SME)

for HVAC systems, supporting the end-to-end lifecycle from design through to commissioning and validation, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, local codes, and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as

Subject Matter Expert (SME)

for HVAC systems design and implementation in pharmaceutical settings. Provide

technical engineering input

throughout design, construction, and commissioning phases, ensuring alignment with local regulations and industry standards. Plan, schedule, and allocate resources to ensure

timely review and approval

of documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Collaborate with project managers and other discipline engineers to develop detailed project plans, including estimation of materials, manpower, and equipment required for HVAC work. Coordinate closely with contractors and engineers for the

commissioning

and performance verification of HVAC systems. Conduct basic

troubleshooting

of HVAC systems and support root cause analysis as needed. Support or draft qualification/validation protocols in compliance with pharmaceutical regulations (e.g., GMP). Maintain accurate project documentation, including service records, validation reports, and inventory logs, ensuring compliance with local and internal policies. Ensure full compliance with

Singapore's Workplace Safety and Health (WSH)

regulations; actively promote and implement safe work practices across all HVAC-related activities. Stay abreast of the latest developments in HVAC technologies, regulatory changes, and

industry trends

, proactively recommending improvements or innovations. Serve as the technical point of contact to

liaise with clients

, address concerns, and ensure satisfaction through quality delivery and communication.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Proven experience in HVAC system design, implementation, and troubleshooting, preferably within pharmaceutical or regulated environments. Familiarity with

validation/qualification

requirements for cleanroom and GMP environments. Ability to work independently while coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams. Strong understanding of

EHS

, cGMP, and relevant building codes in Singapore.
