Job Description

Port To Port Immigration Services is a licensed international recruitment and
immigration agency that screen applicants for trade experience and immigration
eligibility. We are searching for certified (Red Seal) HVAC Mechanics/Technicians.
Job Requirements:
\xef\x82\xb7 Minimum 3-5 years\xe2\x80\x99 recent experience
\xef\x82\xb7 Completion of secondary school and training courses or a vocational program
is usually required.
\xef\x82\xb7 Trade Certification (Red seal) - Completion of a three- to five-year
apprenticeship program or a combination of over five years of work
experience and industry courses in refrigeration and air conditioning
\xef\x82\xb7 HVAC License is COMPULSARY (you must be HVAC certified) - A period of
supervised work experience (usually two years, is required before
certification)
Job duties:
\xef\x82\xb7 Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or other specifications
\xef\x82\xb7 Measure and lay out reference points for installation
\xef\x82\xb7 Assemble and install refrigeration or air conditioning components such as
motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers,
evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools
\xef\x82\xb7 Measure and cut piping, and connect piping using welding and brazing
equipment
\xef\x82\xb7 Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling,
refrigeration and air conditioning systems
\xef\x82\xb7 Start up system and test for leaks using testing devices
\xef\x82\xb7 Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system
and perform routine maintenance or servicing
\xef\x82\xb7 Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air
conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems
\xef\x82\xb7 May install, maintain and repair equipment in refrigerated trucks used to
transport food or medical supplies
\xef\x82\xb7 May prepare work estimates for clients.

\xef\x82\xb7 Candidate receives first interview.
\xef\x82\xb7 Successful candidates will then have an Immigration specific interview

\xef\x82\xb7 Upon completion of the above steps, candidates will be shortlisted for
Canadian jobs.

Visa Type: Closed work permit only. Eligible candidates can undergo a permanent
residency assessment after 1560 hours of service (English or French and high
school leaving diploma is generally mandatory).

Permit fee will be invoiced once you accepted a job offer from an employer. Please
