Profile: ICT Educator
Contract Period: 1 January 2026 to 31 December 2026
Working Hours
The personnel shall be deployed at the following hours:
Mondays to Fridays: 7:00am to 4:30pm (inclusive of 45 minutes lunch break)
Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays, and gazetted public holidays
Scope of Services
The Services required are as follows:
ICT Integration & Support
Assist in nurturing the school's e-Learning and e-Pedagogy culture.
Create e-learning content, including resources for home-based learning.
Design and develop digital and interactive teaching resources (e.g., instructional videos).
Provide software and technical assistance to staff and students.
Work closely with the HOD ICT to spearhead ICT initiatives and school-wide IT projects.
Provide support in the development and research of ICT solutions to enhance school operations and teaching practices.
Training & ICT Workshops
Conduct customised ICT-based training workshops for staff and students.
Compile and maintain student showcase projects.
Guide and mentor students participating in ICT-related competitions.
Courses to be Conducted
The ICT Educator will conduct ICT lessons for classes or small groups of students, including but not limited to:
Touch Typing
Cyber Wellness topics
E-Learning Portal usage
Utilising multimedia facilities (scanner, digital camera)
Basic photo editing (e.g., Adobe Photoshop)
Presentation graphics in MS Word and MS PowerPoint
Microsoft Word (basic & advanced)
Microsoft Excel (basic & advanced)
Microsoft PowerPoint (basic & advanced)
Basic video production
Coding (Scratch Junior, Scratch 3.0, Co-spaces, Micro:bit)
Design Thinking Skills
Financial Literacy
Any other ICT-related courses as required by the school
Qualifications and Skills
The Personnel should preferably possess the following:
Relevant certification in ICT (e.g., Computing, Engineering, Infocommunication).
Knowledge and proficiency in website programming and Google Workspace tools.
Strong proficiency in Scratch Junior, Scratch 3.0, Co-spaces, and Micro:bit.
Good understanding of ICT tools that support self-directed and collaborative learning.
Experience managing children under the age of 12.
Prior experience working in a primary school is an advantage.
Strong planning, analytical, and organisational skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills to conduct training for students and staff.
Effective classroom management skills.
Ability to multi-task, work independently, and collaborate within a team.
Preferably MOE-registered trainer.
