What the role is:

ISD confronts and addresses threats to Singapore\'s internal security and stability. For over 70 years, ISD and its predecessor organisations have played a central role in countering threats such as those posed by foreign subversive elements, spies, racial and religious extremists, and terrorists. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for the delivery of modern ICT infrastructure projects that will enhance the efficiency, resiliency and scalability of the infrastructures.

What you will be working on:

• Exploration and evaluation of solutions to meet the infrastructure modernisation requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborate with internal stakeholders as well as private industry partners \xe2\x80\xa2 Plan and coordinate for project designs to comply with the Enterprise Architecture and policies \xe2\x80\xa2 Manage project life-cycle until project commissioning \xe2\x80\xa2 Adopt procurement strategy and approach to achieve successful ICT contracts. \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct procurement functions in accordance with policies, principles and procedures prescribed by the Singapore Government

What we are looking for:

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, related ICT field or equivalent competencies will be preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in procurement and contracts management / administration in the ICT industry will be preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge or prior experience in Government ICT procurement would be an added advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of Infrastructure technologies will be preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Good command of written and spoken English \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical skills and communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to coordinate, organise, prioritise and multi-task \xe2\x80\xa2 Versatile in learning and strong interests to keep up-to-date with changes in technology and best industry practices \xe2\x80\xa2 Good team player who is able to work effectively at all levels of an organisation, with the ability to contribute constructive and practical ideas \xe2\x80\xa2 Only Singaporeans need apply We wish to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
