Job Description

The Services required are set out as follows: School-Based ICT Curriculum Duties To perform the duties of an ICT trainer as a priority requirement, performing the duties of a classroom instructor for ICT lessons, and trainer of small groups students on skills relating to ICT. Take note that those labelled with \xe2\x80\x9cRequired\xe2\x80\x9d are critical technical skills that the candidate must have: i. Required: iWorks apps which include Pages, Keynote and Numbers ii. Required: Google Workspace apps which include Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites, Calendar and Drive. iii. Required: Microsoft Office apps which include Word, Power Point, Excel, and One Drive. iv. Required: Media editing of images and video files v. Required: Photography and videography skills vi. Preferred: Basic coding skills vii. Preferred: Basic data cleaning and presentation skills with Excel or equivalent tools.

• To support the school-based ICT curriculum, as a classroom assistant or trainer, to help build up baseline ICT skills, basic coding, digital art and other digital literacy relevant skills for students.

• To create and renew video tutorials, e-books and online portals for self-learning by students and staff. This includes further developing the current Students Digital Skills Self-Learning website to a platform offering progressive online courses to enhance students\xe2\x80\x99 self-directed learning Infocomm Club CCA Duties

• To support Infocomm Club CCA by training the students on how to use AV equipment, media editing (see the above requirements) etc. Audio-Visual (AV) and ICT Duties

• To guide teachers on how to use web tools, AV equipment, perform photo or video editing and etc

• To provide training to teachers and students on the usage of the equipment in the new media production studio.

• To follow the work arrangements by ICT Manager or HOD/SH ICT, act as the AVA Executive for the school and provide AV technical support for teaching and learning purposes as well as school events, including but not limited to setup of projection, wireless casting sound system and control room operation.

• To perform minor servicing for AV equipment and maintain usage and service records of such equipment and assist in the maintenance of all AV equipment.

• To liaise with vendors to perform major servicing for AV equipment. Event Support Duties

• To be the photographer and videographer to capture school events.

• To edit, archive and update photo montages and videos for school.

• To setup AV equipment for school events.

Other General School ICT-Related Duties

• To develop, maintain and improve in-house ICT systems to achieve excellence in school administration. To support cleaning and upkeeping of school non-confidential data and information

Job Qualifications: = The Personnel shall minimally have the following qualifications, skills and experience: A National Trade Certificate Grade II or equivalence in relevant discipline Minimum 1 year of experience preferably working in school(s) and in AVA implementations Good track record in AVA support and ICT skills training Please provide the necessary documents to support the qualifications and experience together with your proposal. The personnel shall minimally have the following skills:

• Good relevant technical knowledge in using iWorks, Google Workspace and Microsoft Office for educational purposes.

• Good relevant technical knowledge in AVA, including but not limited to setup of sound system, projectors, wireless casting and others.

• Good relevant technical knowledge in videography, including but not limited to video filming, video editing and sound editing.

• Good relevant technical knowledge in photography, including but not limited to photo taking, photo editing and basic graphic design.

• Good proficiency in English. The personnel shall minimally have the following qualities:

• Upholding highly on integrity.

• Being a hardworking, cooperative team player who is willing to learn and accept different opinions. Prior experience as an ICT trainer or instructor, with knowledge of working with youth, is an added advantage.
