You will be supporting the HR team to deliver a range of HR tasks in making IKEA Tampines a great place to work. This role will help drive our people initiatives, provide great co-worker support and drive HR functional excellence and continuous process improvements. Your assignment

  • Promote and safeguard the IKEA culture by being a role model who expresses the IKEA values in all HR operational matters
  • Support the HR generalist in end to end recruitment of part time positions. Activities includes advertising, applicant screening and shortlisting, interviewing candidates and co-ordination of interview with hiring managers
  • Prepare and process new hires employment offers, issuance of work equipment and on-boarding process
  • Support and coordinate with L&D in monthly new hires orientation process and other L&D trainings when required
  • Support in setting-up and maintenance of employee p-files documents etc.
  • Support HR engagement events, improvement projects and new initiatives, when required
  • Any other duties which may be assigned from time and time


Qualifications
  • You can commit for a duration of 6 months (able to commence asap)
  • You are proficient in the Microsoft words, excel and powerpoint
  • You are pursuing or have graduated with a Diploma or Degree in Human Resources
  • You are a team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • You are initiative, self-reliant and motivated
  • You are able to work independently, good at multitasking, and open to hands-on and administrative tasks
