As a Process Control Trainee, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and deployment of next-generation semiconductor research & development capabilities by supporting new tool startup activities within our engineering team. You will be part of a dynamic environment where innovation, precision, and collaboration drive the successful integration of cutting-edge equipment into high-performance fabrication workflows.
Through this role, you will gain hands-on experience in tool qualification, process optimization, and equipment troubleshooting. You will also develop key competencies in statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and cross-functional coordination with equipment vendors, R&D engineers, and operations teams.
This traineeship will equip you with a strong foundation in semiconductor process technologies, equipment engineering, and the critical startup methodologies that enable scalable, reliable, and efficient manufacturing solutions.
What will you be working on
Job Responsibilities
Perform tool acceptance testing and ensure compliance with specifications.
Develop and execute qualification protocols.
Define and optimize process parameters for new tools.
Conduct experiments to validate process stability and repeatability.
Integrate new tools into existing process flows.
Resolve process-related issues.
Collaborate with equipment and maintenance teams to address tool performance problems.
Create and maintain SOPs, process specs, and engineering change notices.
Document tool setup procedures and process recipes.
Ensure all new tools meet environmental, health, and safety standards.
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
What we are looking for
Job Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fab, assembly, and test operations.
Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and FMEA methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
