What the role is:
As a Process Control Trainee, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development and deployment of next-generation semiconductor research & development capabilities by supporting new tool startup activities within our engineering team. You will be part of a dynamic environment where innovation, precision, and collaboration drive the successful integration of cutting-edge equipment into high-performance fabrication workflows. Through this role, you will gain hands-on experience in tool qualification, process optimization, and equipment troubleshooting. You will also develop key competencies in statistical process control (SPC), design of experiments (DOE), and cross-functional coordination with equipment vendors, R&D engineers, and operations teams. This traineeship will equip you with a strong foundation in semiconductor process technologies, equipment engineering, and the critical startup methodologies that enable scalable, reliable, and efficient manufacturing solutions.
What you will be working on:

• Perform tool acceptance testing and ensure compliance with specifications. o Develop and execute qualification protocols. o Define and optimize process parameters for new tools. o Conduct experiments to validate process stability and repeatability. o Integrate new tools into existing process flows. o Resolve process-related issues. o Collaborate with equipment and maintenance teams to address tool performance problems. o Create and maintain SOPs, process specs, and engineering change notices. o Document tool setup procedures and process recipes. o Ensure all new tools meet environmental, health, and safety standards. o Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.

What we are looking for:
Job Requirements o Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related fields. o Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, including wafer fab, assembly, and test operations. o Knowledge of SPC, DOE, and FMEA methodologies. o Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., JMP, Minitab).
