Job Description

Scope and Purpose
- Handle/process import/export bills transactions within the established facility limits and in line with the Bank procedure and industry practice - Export transactions may include o L/C advising and confirmation o L/C negotiation / discounts o L/C collection o Document discrepancies o Bills settlement / payment o Refinancing transactions o Advance against receivables o Reimbursement claim o Advance/loan rollover / closing - Import transactions may include o Import L/C issuance o Standby LC and Bank Guarantee issuance o Transfer L/C issuance o Import L/C documents discrepancies advice o Document collections / payment o Loan rollover / closing o Invoice financing - Check Import / Export L/C documents - Handle customer enquires - Follow up bills status and send tracers - Report irregular cases to Head of Department - Other job as arranged by Head of Department expebcib
Required Experience
At least 3 years of working experience in Trade Ops Department of a Bank
Competencies Required
- Ability to check documents in accordance with UCP 600 and ISP 745 and process bills transaction under automated environment - GCE \'O\' level and above, PC literate and knowledge of Trade Operations dept\'s transactions e.g. L/C advising and confirmation, B/G issuance and L/C issuance
