What the role is:
At IRAS, we aim to be a leading tax agency known for our efficient services, expertise and integrity. We are looking for committed team players to co-develop the next generation of ICT systems that improve how millions of taxpayers connect and interact with us.
What you will be working on:
You will be assigned to either project: (1) Streamlining data-related processes within IRAS Streamline existing data sharing process within IRAS to reduce administrative and compliance burden on divisions. Enhance the efficiency of handling data-related queries. Automate the data sharing management process within IRAS. Develop a Bot to handle data-related queries pertaining to data classification, data sharing, data incident management, etc. (2) Driving Data Discovery and Gaining Insights from IRAS' Data Analyse data acquired by IRAS and formulate new/secondary use cases, and derive new insights Formulate tools and strategies to drive data discovery and exploitation in IRAS
What we are looking for:

• Team players who are self-motivated, adaptable, resilient with good interpersonal communication skills. Experience in machine learning and AI development. Knowledge in Data Analytics, Programming (Python, SAS) Strong problem-solving skills to handle complex datasets. Keen attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and reliability in data interpretation. Excellent critical thinking skills to evaluate models and troubleshoot issues. The internship will be for a period of 12 weeks from June to Aug 2025.
