The Implementation Manager is part of a global Implementation Team based in Denmark, USA, China and Singapore. The role will support the APAC region.

About the Role

We are looking for an Implementation Manager to lead and manage customer implementations of our world-class products, Pure. This is part of the suite of Academic Information Systems (AIS) products. Pure is a leading research information systems, trusted by research institutions across the globe.

Responsibilities

\xc2\xb7 Functioning as the customer\xe2\x80\x99s Pure expert during implementation and the technical tasks of getting data in and out of Pure

\xc2\xb7 Being the main point of contact for the customer after purchase, during implementation and establish good communications with the customer

\xc2\xb7 Preparing the customer for the implementation project, including assisting sales in pre-sales activities

\xc2\xb7 Creating a realistic implementation plan for customer implementation projects

\xc2\xb7 Managing and monitor the implementation as it unfolds, including regular online status meetings with the customer

\xc2\xb7 Communicating, plan, and track the work for the specific implementation project with both internal and external stakeholders

\xc2\xb7 Providing the customer with advice and suggestions on how best to perform the integration and migration tasks needed

\xc2\xb7 Liaising with all internal teams to provide your clients with comprehensive, well-informed support for all their needs

\xc2\xb7 Ensuring that the customer launches with the best possible set up within the boundaries defined for the project on time

\xc2\xb7 Training clients online/onsite to help them use and configure our systems

\xc2\xb7 Developing and maintain internal documentation and procedures

\xc2\xb7 Traveling may be expected for each project

Requirements

\xc2\xb7 Relevant college or university degree or other relevant education (e.g. software engineer, computer scientist)

\xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin/Chinese are required.

\xc2\xb7 Relevant experience with IT project management

\xc2\xb7 Sufficient technical experience to understand and explain systems integration on the data level including data extraction, transformation, and formatting

\xc2\xb7 Basic knowledge and understanding of databases, XML, and Web Services. Programming experience including databases, XML and Web Services.

\xc2\xb7 Able to program for data transformation activities, experience within the area of research information management or experience with Change Management.
