Responsibilities

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Industry/ Organization Type: Logistics
  • Position Title: Import & Export Officer / Shipping Coordinator
  • Working Location: Tanjong Pagar
  • Working Hours: 5.5 days
  • Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate & follow up daily on trucking status
  • Handles customer complaints and feedback tactfully
  • Liaise with the shipping line or agent to check for empty container return/collection and cost
  • Coordinate with internal department & customer/consignee on depot or transportation matters
  • Planning of schedules or deliveries according to customer requirements
  • Preparation of billing after the job is completed

  • Min GCE ā€œNā€ level qualification
  • At least 1 year of working experience in the Logistics industry preferred
  • Relevant knowledge in Portnet, Yard & Trip Management System
  • Competent in basic computer skills and applications (Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook)
