The Indirect Senior Buyer is part of the Global Indirect Procurement Team. The position is responsible for supporting & driving the Indirect Category Strategy focusing on Facilities & Manufacturing Operation. The individual will assist to develop the Category Strategy and Supplier Relationships for Global/Region Facilities & Manufacturing Operation spend. This individual will serve as a key interface to global/region suppliers & strategically source goods and services to drive cost savings, improve quality and provide for innovative opportunities at the lowest total cost of ownership. This role will provide sourcing & contracting support to manage, coordinates and implement category projects from initiation to delivery within agreed timeline of 14 countries separation strategies in APAC. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Effectively lead sourcing activities including RFP, negotiation, contract administration, and site support implementation as needed.
• Establish business terms, agreements, and contracts with suppliers
• Act as lead negotiator for local & regional business agreements
• Monitor, track and report on savings and key performance indicators for region
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build & deliver strategic solutions such as Business Improvement Plan in cost, quality & delivery
• Conduct regular reviews with key stakeholders and provide regular reporting on initiative and cost reduction projects
• Drive customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Global Procurement
• Manage conflict and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Meets the expectations of internal and external customers and gains their respect
• Demonstrate strong negotiation and influencing skills
• Other duties may be assigned
  

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain plus minimum 5 years experience and more working experience in Indirect Procurement (Facilities/Manufacturing Operation)
• Strong strategic sourcing and procurement background with at least 2-3 years Indirect Category experience
• Acts decisively and within the time constraints of given responsibilities
• Can adapt well to changing priorities and can multi-task between major assignments
• Has understanding of contract management systems and procedures
• Demonstrates effective practical sourcing and negotiation skills and techniques
• Demonstrates solid written and verbal communication skills that may include high level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with deep expertise in data analysis and management (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Access).
• Excellent category management and negotiation skills
• Exposure to healthcare industry preferred 2+ years experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sector.
• Substantial experience in working in international matrix organizations.
• Able to manage and communicate (through virtual, remote communication tools) \xe2\x80\x93 both written and verbal in English
• Hands on mentality and resourceful
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
• Ability to scope, plan, and execute multiple, projects with minimal assistance
