Job Description

Air Liquide Singapore Private Limited (ALSg), the largest and leading industrial gas company in South-east Asia, employs 800 people recognized for their high level of expertise to provide gases, equipment, services and packaged solutions to support the requirements of the Singapore manufacturing industry.

Reporting to the Project Manager , you will be responsible for the safe and timely execution of the industrial project assigned.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

1. Safety and Industrial Management System \xe2\x80\x8b

Be a key stakeholder of safety at the office and at sites.

Make safety a key part of the project\'s process.

Make risk management a key pillar of the project process.

Pass required in-house training provided by Air Liquide.

Ensure IMS compliance and deployment.

2. Project Management \xe2\x80\x8b

Ensure that project management is well deployed for all local projects (scope, gates review, risk analysis (PRA/HAZOP), MOC, project charters and check-list capitalization).

Ensure that necessary permits required in the project are available as needed for regulatory compliance purposes.

Ensure that appropriate resources are well allocated to the project.

Connect the local project team to Design Authorities and project stakeholders (internal or external) to meet projects deliverables.

Manage project planning and meetings locally to ensure appropriate progress.

Track costs and progress as well as ensure project reporting.

Ensure technical capitalization (lessons learnt, costs, as-built planning).

Connect with other clusters for best practices in technical projects management.

Connect with analysts to propose appropriate projects to improve assets performance.

3. Commissioning and Operations

Be a key stakeholder in the Commissioning Team & Ready to Start Up activity.

Preparation of Plant SOP\'s.

Ensure plant Industrial Compliance to Local and AL regulations.

Ensure First Industrial Operation / Performance Test Acceptance.

4. Documentation and Coordination \xe2\x80\x8b

Liaising with vendors for due diligence works related to equipment overhaul

Preparation of regulatory documentation.

Preparation of tie-in points for the integration of the new plant with our existing plant at Jurong Island.

Liaise with various stakeholders including within our other departments for deployment of initiatives, pre-commissioning and commissioning, and not excluding other external stakeholders and vendors.

Are you a MATCH?

• Degree/Master in Engineering or any other relevant equivalent qualifications.
• The successful candidate will have experience in industrial project management and in maintenance management (preferably in mechanical and/or instrumentation).
• Keen learner with a deep sense of responsibility over their deliverables.
• Team player with a sense of empathy, and a willingness to act in ways that prioritize the common good of the organization.
• Courage to be innovative and a problem solver.
• Safety and Quality conscious.
• Prior occupational and process safety experience is an added advantage.
