Ensure that daily care routines are carried out in a manner that is prompt, hygienic, and consistent with the good child development principles including diapering, eating, napping, and transitioning between activities
Ensure the safety of children through constant supervision, effective arrangement of space, and proper maintenance of equipment
Create an open, friendly, and cooperative atmosphere in which children and parents feel comfortable and secure
Responsible for the safety and hygiene of the children
Provide experiences that promote individual expression through conversation, play, and creative interaction Complete progress reports and prepare a developmental portfolio for each child
Ensure that parents receive adequate information about their children\'s progress at the centre
Assist the child in coping with anxiety during the transition phase (separation from parents when placed into infant care)
Work with infant team to evaluate on learning environment in infant bay to optimise development and learning for infants
Job Requirements
Certificate in Infant/Toddler Care and Development (CIT) / Higher Certificate in Infant Care (HCIC) / Advanced Certificate in Early Years (ACEY)
Registered with ECDA as EY1 or EY2
First Aid Certification will be an advantage
Passionate in nurturing infants and toddlers
A team player with passion and interest in caring for and developing infants and toddlers
Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
