Information Systems Executive - End User Computing
Responsibilities:
1. IT Technical Support
Assist in the setup, deployment, and configuration of end-user devices such as laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
Provide first-level technical support to end users for hardware and software issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems in a timely manner.
Installation and updating of software applications, ensuring that applications are correctly configured and licensed.
2. User IT Onboarding and Offboarding
Support the onboarding process for new hires, including setting up user accounts and provisioning devices, as well as assisting with offboarding activities when needed.
3.Training Support:
Assist in conducting training sessions for staff on the use of software applications and company systems to improve user experience.
4.IT Inventory Management
Help track and manage end-user computing assets, ensuring they are recorded accurately and maintained according to firm's policies.
5.Security Compliance:
Co-ordinate with IT security team to ensure compliance with data security policies on end-user devices, including the application of security updates and patches.
6.Coordination with IS Teams:
Collaborate with the IS team and feedback from end users to ensure alignment and improvement on end-user computing strategies.
7.End User Computing Projects
Support modernisation of the workplace IT environment to increase productivity & efficiency
Requirements:
Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
Good understanding of end-user computing technologies (Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Azure AD, Office 365), including desktops, notebooks, mobile devices, and productivity software.
3+ years of experience in a desktop/end-user IT support role, preferably in a professional services or legal environment
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with Windows desktop and server operating systems
Understanding of network connectivity, remote access, and basic server administration
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willing to embrace changes and new technologies.
Relevant system administration certification like Microsoft will be an additional advantage
* Experience with endpoint administration platform like Crowdstrike Falcon, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or ManageEngine will be an additional advantage
