  • Assists in the implementation of new solutions based on business requirements and IT strategies.
  • Develop a 4 + 1 architecture views of the solution.
  • Develop the system architecture covering Server, compute, storage.
  • Develop the architecture to address the non-functional requirements such as Scalability, Availability, Performance, Flexibility and Security.
  • Actively drive and direct solution discussion as a technical delivery member.
  • Be responsible for ensuring the delivery of the solution and assigning specific task.
  • To assess and decide on the direction of solutions based on the impact analysis and experience, especially when there is project delivery risk in the functionality and schedule.
  • Drive the solution design discussion to deriving the best solution design during the solution design phase.
  • Review of the documentation prepared by the Business Architect, Integration Architect, Infrastructure Architect and Vendors.
  • Keep up-to-date on latest security for IT development best practices
  • Keep up-to-date with latest technological trends in relation to Infrastructure, especially on the various Cloud based managed services
  • Maintaining accurate documents of the work done for reporting and accountability.
  • Provide regular project update schedule to the stakeholders
Job Requirements
  • Bachelorxe2x80x99s Degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred
  • At least 8 years of IT experience of which, 1-3 years minimum in demonstrating management and technical leadership experience.
  • Expert Knowledge on the following technologies: Designing and implementing Data center high availability, VMware, vSAN, HCI, and Enterprise Network/Campus Network.
  • Good understanding of network topologies, protocols, and standards, Subject matter experience in multi-vendor products - Cisco, HP, Brocade, routers, wireless, Firewall, IPS/IDS and switches.
  • Experience creation of System and network related Bill of Material (BOM) equipment lists and costing/Budgeting.
  • Knowledge on Compute Hardware UCS, HP, Dell. SAN Storage DellEMC, HP, PureStorage. NAS Storage EMC ISILON, NetApp.
  • Experience in Data Center Design, DR Solution, Active-Active Cluster Setup.
  • Experience on the Cloud Technology, AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Experience in Operating Systems, Windows, Linux
  • Experience in Containers Technologies like Kuberneties, Dockers, etc.
  • Experience in Ansible and Terraform
  • Deep Understanding and Experience in migration from cloud to on-premises vice versa.
  • Hands on experience on at least 2/3 Hypervisors
  • Hands on experience on TCP/IP networking with Cisco /Multi-vendor products.
  • Comprehensive Knowledge in designing SDDC (Software Defined Data Center)
  • In depth knowledge in Virtualization technologies, virtual switches, virtual storage and cloud service modeling.
  • Clear understanding of Networking, Blade/Rack Server, Unified Storage and Converged Systems.
  • Capacity in Understanding and Evaluating multi-vendor product offering.
  • At least 5 years of hands-on software programming and architecture experience
  • At least 3 years of hands-on business data and process architecture experience
  • Experience in application architecture of Microsoft technology stack
  • Experience in deriving holistic logical and physical diagrams
  • Experienced in Architecture and Design using UML.
  • Exposure on Infrastructure Sizing for applications and Web application security.
  • Knowledge of Agile software development process methodologies.
  • Ability to communicate with the business clients in non-technical terms.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess a proven and successful track record in designing complex IT projects/programs.
  • Ability to prepare and give presentations.
