As an experienced Infrastructure Development professional, your mission is to help lead our team of innovators and technologists toward creating next-level solutions that improve the way our business is run with focus on data center and Public Cloud networking. Your hands-on knowledge in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability will help your team deliver high-quality products. You'll be instrumental in solving more difficult technical issues, developing integration elements, building data models, APIs, and open 3rd-party SDKs. You'll see your ideas come to life as part of a small, success-driven team. Your quest to embracing leading-edge technologies and methodologies inspires your team to follow suit. This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science with at least 10 years of experience in IT
  • CCIE certified
  • Minimum 8 years of technical and network design experience within a large enterprise environment
  • Minimum 8 years of related experience with Cisco or Arista Routing & Switching platforms
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in various routing technologies (BGP, OSPF, IS-IS)
  • Experience with Data Center Fabric & Overlay technologies such as Cisco ACI, EVPN/VXLAN, NSX
  • AWS Foundational items such as VPC, EC2, Transit Gateway, NAT Gateway, IGW, Flow Logs, etc.
  • Understanding & experience with Agile and Lean philosophies
  • Unit-testing framework(s) & BDD/TDD
  • CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins
  • Experience in analysis of business system requirements in a multi-platform distributed environment
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with clear communication
  • Ability to collaborate with different roles to achieve common goals
Preferred skills:
  • Network certifications (Cisco) preferred.
  • Public Cloud certifications (AWS) preferred.
  • Software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages: Python (preferred), Go, Java,
  • Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (ex. Ansible and Terraform)
  • Knowledge of Load Balancing and Firewall technologies like F5, Checkpoint or Fortinet would be a plus
Responsibilities:-
  • Data Center Network design
  • Cloud Architecture & Design
  • Designing self-healing and resiliency patterns
  • Design, code, test, and deliver software to automate manual operational work such as feature certification, deployment, and lifecycle activities
  • Publishing Network Standards
  • Define Lifecycle strategy
  • Troubleshoot priority incidents, facilitate blameless post-mortems and ensure permanent closure of incidents
  • Coach or manage teams as applicable
  • Work hand in hand with the operations teams on items such as bug fixes, design changes, and code upgrades
