Role

The role is part of the Cloud Infrastructure team, where this role\xe2\x80\x99s key focus is on Planning and Strategy to support Infrastructure Operations in Singapore and regional business units. It involves understanding business and infrastructure requirements, and support in ensuring standardization and creation of sustainable IT roadmap for infrastructure upgrade and change. This mainly includes providing strategic leadership and management to the delivery team, ensure that high quality and effective service is delivered.

Responsibilities:

• IT service is customer focused and deliver outstanding level of service (e.g. ensuring smooth running of IT operations - user support, IT systems, domain services, communications, and connectivity) while continually improving towards best practice with respect to cost, quality and service
• Oversee the ongoing maintenance and support of all infrastructure technology, applications and services
• Provide thought leadership, drive development of regional or country IT roadmaps
• Defining quality for all types of providers, vendor evaluation and selection, managing regional vendor relationships including contract negotiations and performance
• Lead the implementation of IT policies, procedures, and best practices within the region
• Ensure effective Senior Stakeholder communication and reporting on all projects and initiatives & work collaboratively with project teams and key stakeholders
• Drive/lead and/or partner management teams in the adoption of new technologies to improve customer experience or improve Internal processes

Requirements:

• Have a minimum 7 years working experience with 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in managing IT Systems, Infrastructure and third-party vendors
• Bachelor\'s degree or Advanced Diploma or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology preferred.
• Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware/software systems
• Able to thrive in a high growth and dynamic environment
• Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks
• Highly organised and detail oriented
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skill
• Proven track record in being the point of escalation for business in critical incident events is required for this role.
• Exposure to Infrastructure (System and Network) will be required for this role.
• Familiar with Azure Cloud concepts.
