Roles & Responsibilities – Senior Sales Manager (Infrastructure)
1. Sets the mission and vision of the infrastructure, middleware and develops organization to foster a business-oriented mindset driven by continual service improvement in the business of system, network, security etc.

2. Leads the development of strategies and roadmap, ensuring integration with the overall IT and enterprise strategic plans.

3. Works with the IT senior leadership team on the service portfolio and governance required to prioritize resources.

4. Manages annual budget for infrastructure to ensure it is consistent with overall strategic objectives.

5. Leverages influencing and negotiation skills across IT and the enterprise to enable cost-effective and innovative shared solutions in achievement of business goals.

6. Participates in the assessment of external and internal technology capabilities required to achieve desired competitive positioning.

7. Maintains currency on new technologies and platforms and provides direction on what emerging technologies should be assimilated, integrated, and introduced

8. Provides strategic direction and oversight for the design, development, operation and support of IT systems that fulfil the needs of the business, including the full life cycle of technical architecture, infrastructure engineering, infrastructure operations and IT service support.

9. Directs the development of sourcing strategy and provides executive oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management.

10. Manage central teams to deploy and operate across the organization, watching over all aspects of Infrastructure health.

11. Partner and participate in customer troubleshooting calls and incident root causes analysis workgroups.

12. Track issues and analyse data looking for trends and systemic issues

13. Drive specifications for tools and automation that facilitate lifecycle management (installation to decommissioning) of our server and network fleet at scale

14. Implement process improvements and inform best practices in production operations
Qualifications: ✓ More than 10 years in a forward-progressing technology management background ✓ Preferably 5+ years of experience in large, cross-functional teams influencing senior-level management and key stakeholders effectively across the organization and within complex contexts. ✓ Experience in leading an IT organization managing mission critical IT projects ✓ Able to demonstrate proven ability to effectively lead and meet business objectives in a highly collaborative and high-performance work environment. ✓ Must be comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt quickly and easily. ✓ Management background which includes experience of managing managers and managing teams. ✓ Preferably proven experience or demonstrated capability in leading IT transformational initiatives in complex and dynamic environments. Knowledge: ✓ Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to develop and communicate a tech infrastructure, dev ops, and corp IT vision that inspires and motivates staff and aligns to the IT and business strategy. ✓ Ability to instill confidence in the business and demonstrate the business value of IT. ✓ Effective influencing and negotiation skills in an environment where resources may not be in direct control of this role. ✓ Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, strategic planning and execution skills. ✓ Strong business acumen, including industry, domain-specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units. Expertise in budget planning and financial management preferably with showback and/or chargeback models. ✓ Deep understanding of current and emerging technologies and how other enterprises are employing them. ✓ Success in leveraging both traditional best practices, such as IT service management practices as well as DevOps that are optimized for agility. ✓ Demonstrated ability to develop and execute a strategic people plan that ensures that the right people are in the right roles at the right time and that employees are highly engaged and satisfied. ✓ Strong vendor management and partner relation skills to identify and leverage resources internal and external to the enterprise ✓ Ability to drive organizational change and build infrastructure capabilities that effectively balance the need to continuously exploit capabilities
