Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technical Specialist to own and maintain enterprise-level applications and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in operational delivery, DevSecOps processes, and enterprise architecture. This role requires hands-on experience with OS and application patching, performance monitoring, automation, and maintaining high-availability environments.

Skills:

Agile Process & Tools :

Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools to understand the development process and support delivery lifecycle.

Operations Delivery & Maintenance

: Experience in maintaining enterprise architectures, including OS patching, application patching, performance monitoring, throughput management, and operational automation.

DevSecOps & CI/CD:

Understanding of DevSecOps processes, continuous integration/deployment, and pipelines. Familiarity with tools like GitLab, Bamboo, Maven Repository, Artifactory, and NPM is a plus.

Additional Technical Expertise:

Windows and RHEL Operating Systems WebLogic/WebSphere Application Server Administration MSSQL/MySQL/DB2 Infra as Code (Ansible/Terraform) Basic security hardening and IM8 policies

Key Responsibilities:

Take ownership of one or two application products, including operational aspects such as patching, application support, and environment setup. For example, setting up WebSphere servers in HA mode in production and applying application patches post-deployment. Manage and maintain enterprise container architectures (3-tier architecture), supporting up to 100 environments per site. Participate in application architecture sessions with build teams to provide input on integration points (e.g., web services, MQ, SFTP). Maintain enterprise architectures including web applications and microservices. Build and maintain DevSecOps pipelines and automation tooling.

Define and implement operational processes such as:

OS-level patching Application-level patching Operational housekeeping and archival Backup and recovery Ensure compliance with government-level security concepts, including hardening, scanning, and overall security posture.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

Strong understanding of Agile processes and ability to support delivery lifecycle. Hands-on experience with operations delivery and enterprise architecture maintenance. Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with GitLab, Bamboo, Maven Repository, Artifactory, and NPM is a plus. Windows and RHEL OS expertise. * Candidates with expertise in either Kubernetes or Middleware will be considered.
