Ink Lab Test Technicians

Description -

What a Ink Lab Test Technician does at HP:

• Able to collaborate with a team of test engineer and technicians to support ink testing
• Electronic test knowledge to perform laboratory testing
• Troubleshooting of tools failure and propose solutions
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and troubleshooting
• Ensure housekeeping and EHS compliance
• Provide support to requestors and/or engineers initiatives such as routine and non-routine testing, new method developments, quality improvement projects
• Purchase and maintain the inventory records of test materials and laboratory supplies accurately and promptly
• Assist in lab data processing and reporting
• Assist in writing and maintain test instructions and work instruction procedures for instruments
• Train newcomers for lab activities and testing
• Programing knowledge using Microsoft Power Automate
• Good knowledge on any test tool hardware/firmware/software

Individuals who will do well in this role usually posses:

• NTC / GCE 'O' Level or equivalent in Electronics or related
• Able to work 12 hours rotating day or night shift
• Commitment to perform the job according to work instructions and procedures
• Ability to work efficiently and handle workload and schedule pressures
• Possesses a positive, 'can-do' attitude, with minimal supervision
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office applications will be an advantage
• Good experience on any test tools operations and controls interface is an advantage
• Competent on problem solving, self-driven and able to work well in a team setting
• Ability and willing to undergo knowledge-transfer training
