What a Ink Manufacturing Technical Specialist does at HP: * Provide Day-to-Day operational support to all manufacturing activities in the manufacturing processes through dismantling, adjustments, repairs of equipment according to plans, blueprints What a Ink Manufacturing Technical Specialist does at HP: Provide Day-to-Day operational support to all manufacturing activities in the manufacturing processes through dismantling, adjustments, repairs of equipment according to plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals for troubleshooting or parts replacement to sustain operations within specified Critical Process Parameters, performing appropriate levels of maintenance and unscheduled troubleshooting. Provide Day-to-Day operational support to all in-process and incoming material testing activities in the manufacturing processes through use of the lab testing techniques to determine conformance to required material composition and performance of product to user specifications Demonstrate capability to support characterization of material composition and performance analysis for product research & development purposes, troubleshoot root causes of reliability issues, and recommend and implement corrective or preventive actions Lead equipment reliability programs to improve equipment uptime and implement projects to improve productivity/Smart Manufacturing, quality, safety and reduce cost. Proactively practice and adhere to EHS and relevant safety protocols, GMP and other applicable ISO standards to ensure continual compliance to all procedures and processes. Collaborate effectively with QC, Reliability, Analytical and Print lab teams to always maintain the excellent quality in products. Work closely with process and product engineers on the product qualification, testing and approvals as pre-requisite for Manufacturing Release. Collaborate with other operational sites to achieve cost, quality, availability and reliability metrics. Individuals who do well in this role at HP, usually possess: Diploma, Higher NITEC/NITEC certification or with minimally 2 years of relevant experience. Specialization in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical or Mechanical or prior work experience in Chemical based industry will be an advantage. Able to commit 12 hours rotating shift and comfortable to lift heavy load as equipment are large due to ink creation. Commitment to perform the job according to work instructions and procedures and strict adherence to chemical safety protocols. Experienced in working with equipment like Hydraulic and Pneumatic pumps, Programmable Logic Controls such as Allen Bradley or Rockwell, Control Panels and controller circuits, Repair and Troubleshooting of electronic boards or robotics or mechanical components. Prior experience in pharmaceutical, oil and gas, or chemical manufacturing will be an added advantage, including working knowledge of EHS and PPE requirements, Safe Chemical Handling, GMP practices and ISO quality and procedures, will be an advantage.
